What if I don't want the drumming?
Lee will skip the use of the drum at the client's request, but encourages all clients to experience the benefits of drumming at least once before deciding against it.

I've never had a massage!
Lee is very happy to take extra time with first time recipients to fully explain what the client can expect from their massage session. Lee's belief is that every first-time massage can be a positive experience if the mystery and unknown is addressed and explained prior to the start of the session.

Does all that extra attention deduct from my time on the table?
Lee believes that a one-hour massage should be just that...60 minutes of hands-on table time. So, unlike other practitioners, Lee does not count intake interview, question and answer or drumming time as part of the client's paid massage. Your massage session begins when Lee makes physical contact with you and ends 30,60 or 90 minutes after that (depending on how much time you've opted for).

Will I have to take all of my clothes off?
No, the extent to which each client undresses depends entirely on his or her comfort level. Although most clients choose to disrobe completely for their session (to optimize the effectiveness of the massage techniques), it is neither required nor expected of anyone. Lee believes that any client who is experiencing anxiety about being in a state of undress for their session will not be able to fully relax and thus will not benefit from their massage. It is to that end that Lee encourages every client to disrobe only to his or her own personal level of comfort. Clients should be aware that, regardless of how much a person chooses to undress (or not), Lee always employs proper draping techniques during the entire session to ensure the client's warmth and modesty...only the body part being massaged is uncovered at any one time during the session.

What if I don't want a Full Body Massage?
Prior to your session, Lee will conduct an intake interview with you to determine your wants, needs and expectations. Then together you and Lee will develop a treatment plan that best addresses your particular concerns.

Are there female therapists available at Four Winds?
No, because Four Winds Restorative Grounds is a private practice, Lee is the only therapist seeing clients at this facility. Although the field of massage therapy is predominantly the domain of female therapists, most clients are surprised to find that there is little, if any, difference between receiving a massage from a male or female therapist. Regardless of the recipient's age or gender, Lee is committed to ensuring that every session is a safe, non-judgmental and nurturing experience for every client.

Are there age limits regarding who can receive a massage?
Absolutely not. Lee believes that massage is an important experience in every life and provides age-appropriate therapy to clients ranging from infants to the more elder members of our society. The only age-related condition Lee observes is that any client under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present to sign the consent form and that same parent or guardian must be present in the massage room during the entire session.

Does Lee make house calls?
Yes. Although Lee's unique massage techniques are best experienced at Four Winds Restorative Grounds, Lee will gladly bring his massage techniques to your home, office or hotel. There is a travel fee added to the regular rates, for more information see "Outcall" under the "Services and Rates" menu.
